Bishop W.J. Jones

Bishop W. J. Jones was born in Trenton, N.J. on February 24, 1945, the youngest son of the Late Bishop Joseph Paul Jones & Mother Marie Ellen Jones.

Little “Jimbo” as he was called, often slipped into the balcony of the neighborhood church to which his maternal grandmother use to attend Holy Trinity C.O.G.I.C.  He would watch as weddings were performed and funerals were conducted.  He was impressed with the order and precession of the services conducted by the late Bishop Esau Courtney.  He then would retreat to his back yard and practice the same techniques he had observed.
